Another Grey Day

The sun did not shine.
It was too wet to play.
So they sat in the house all that cold, cold, wet day.

Or something like that, anyway. It's been a long time since I read Cat in the Hat to the kids. But the sun does not shine. It's been one grey day after another this spring, which does not bode well for my mental health.

Soon, I say to myself. The sun will shine again soon.

Well, reading Dr. Seuess on a cold cold wet day isn't a bad use of time at all.

Think about the fun those two kids wound up having on that particular day.

Exceedingly sunny here today. Not to rub it in.

Yeah, those endless greys are hard to cope with. Hope the actual sun shines on you soon. In the meantime, I'm sending you some virtual rays...

Find a friend to laugh with, or get on a plane. Don't wait around for the sun - make or find your own!

We had sun here today - in between hail and rain and blustery gray moisture of unidentifiable ilk. But it was sun!

Well if you wan to read that book more often, come hang out with me. I don't get sick of reading Dr. Suess though, it's still always fun to read.

And if you need some more gray, we got that too. :)
