The Cat in the Hat

The sun did not shine.

It was too wet to play.

So we sat in the house all that cold, cold wet day.

Or something like that. My youngest child is 22—it's been a long time since I read Cat in the Hat.

I heard the rain before opening my eyes. Again. Raining again.

I need some sun. Inside. Outside. Whatever. I just need some sunshine.

Sending you light across the miles to ease the darkness in your heart. It will pass, dear friend. Let Emily help you - she doesn't mind the rain.

We've got plenty of sun over here...wanna come for a visit? Short of that, don some puddle stompers and get out of that house. Go get soaked to the bone. Then go home, pour yourself a tall one, and take a long bubble bath. The rain is cleansing...

Sending you love. You are already surrounded in LOVE.

Rain is no fun, unless you have some great indoor activities planned, like baking or something.
